Richard C. Paugh is licensed to practice in the State of Kansas. Richard graduated from Wichita State University in 1989 with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration, with minors in Accounting and Finance. He earned his juris doctorate from the Oklahoma City University School of Law, in 2007. While in law school he worked as a research and writing intern for the Oklahoma Bar Association – Office of the General Counsel and for the Honorable Yvonne Kauger, Oklahoma Supreme Court Justice.
A lifelong resident of Wichita, after graduation from Oklahoma City University School of Law, Richard returned to Wichita, where he took a position with IMA, Inc.as a Contractual Risk Advisor where he advised clients on the aspects of risk management, claims and contract formation. He has also advised numerous business clients and assisted in estate planning. In 2015, he joined Pate & Paugh, LLC.
Richard focuses his practice in the areas of Business Law, Criminal Defense, Family Law, Divorce, Child Custody and Civil Litigation. Richard is a member of the Oklahoma, American and Wichita Bar Associations and Phi Delta Phi Legal Fraternity.
